LEED Compliant Recycling & Waste Management Programs

LEED
The U.S. Green Building Council oversees the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. It is strategically transforming the way we think about how buildings and communities are designed, constructed, maintained and operated across the globe.

Our service focus is on LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (EBOM). In particular, we are equipped to help buildings meet the prerequisites and credits outlined in the Materials and Resources section of the LEED EBOM Manual. Our experts are trained to audit your facility and design your waste management program in accordance with the LEED pre-requisites and credit requirements.

How It Works-

A DC Environmental-trained professional will conduct a comprehensive waste audit. This begins with taking samples from building waste and recycling streams from one day during a normal work period.

  • Collect material from recycle and waste streams.
  • Sort and weigh the material from the recycle and waste streams.
  • Measure landfill waste and diverted recyclable material.
  • Waste audit report provided to customer.
