He has served in this capacity for the past seven years and has implemented recycling and waste management programs at hundreds of buildings across Southern California. Mr. Gaya became passionate about recycling at an early age and turned his passion into a career after spending some time working in the mortgage industry. He graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in international business. Mr. Gaya is a LEED Green Associate and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. |
Ashlee Baker, LEED Green Associate Sustainability Consultant abaker@dcenv.com x325 Ashlee Baker was raised in a family where recycling was a chore and reuse was a necessity. She has spent much of her life diverting waste from landfills. With these deep-rooted roles in sustainability, she decided that a career in recycling and waste management would best suit her passion and skills. She joined DC Environmental in 2012 and brought with her over 10 years of experience in new business development, marketing, and customer service. Ms. Baker holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication and media studies from Florida State University, and a Master’s in environmental studies from California State University, Fullerton. Additionally, she holds the accreditation of LEED Green Associate and holds a Professional Certificate in Green Industry from San Diego State University. |
Lori Ann Haigh Sustainability Consultant lahaigh@dcenv.com x315 Lori Ann Haigh joined DC Environmental in October of 2010 as Vice President of Sales. Her previous experience includes a 15-year track record in the commercial real estate industry where she served as Vice President of National Sales at Land America Commercial Services and First American Title Insurance Company, as well as Director of Business Development for The Muller Company. During this tenure, she recognized the demand for green buildings and took advantage to help create a breakthrough in sustainability for commercial buildings. In her current position, Ms. Haigh brings her wide experience to educate many of her real estate clients on the environmental impact and benefits of green buildings. She received a Bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Southern California. Lori Ann is a native Californian and resides in Orange County, CA with her husband/ business partner and has 3 grown children. She is a past member of Commercial Real Women (CREW), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Association of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and was affiliated with the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). |
Scott Haigh Sustainability Consultant shaigh@dcenv.com x314 Scott Haigh, a recycle and solid waste diversion consultant, joined DC Environmental in 2008. He has helped a broad range of businesses in California create and implement long lasting recycling and waste management programs. As a former owner of furniture manufacturing firm, he clearly saw the need for programs that would reduce the cost of expensive trash haulers and divert recyclables from landfills. This insight brought Mr. Haigh to a new chapter in his life when he began a career at DC Environmental working hard to help property managers realize the economic and environmental benefits of managing their building waste. |
Dennis Bader Sustainability Consultant dbader@dcenv.com x324 Dennis joined DC Environmental in 2010 and has been working hard to bring environmental sustainability to commercial buildings in Orange County. Prior to that, he worked for more than 35 years in sales and served as the CFO for a lawn and garden company. Mr. Bader has an associates degree from Saddleback Junior College and bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton. He is passionate and focused on finding a solution to eliminate the ‘plastic island’ in the Pacific Ocean. |
Lori Feeney Sustainability Consultant lfeenway@dcenv.com x322 Lori Feeney has been with DC Environmental for four years and has focused on coaching facility managers on how to improve on waste management practices to increase sustainability through the LEED program. Ms. Feeney began her career in advertising sales and management and transitioned her career in the past 10 years to waste management and the environment. She graduated with a double major in communication studies and business administration from the University of San Diego. |
